My cooking space is outfitted with an abundance of utensils, gadgets, and other items that I draw upon often in order to cook, bake, and preserve the products of my labor. To name a few: aluminum foil, parchment paper, wax paper, and even freezer paper are all types of specialty papers.

Despite having spent many years working in the kitchen, I just came to the realization that despite my extensive knowledge, I am not yet aware of the full potential of all of these linings and papers. It is important to note that, much like wax paper, freezer paper CANNOT be used in the oven. Because it is covered with plastic or wax on one side, it will melt when subjected to heat on the other side.
